Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the US with 1 in 8 women getting diagnosed in their lifetime. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re doing our part to shine a light on this devastating disease that’s touched so many people’s lives by partnering with Hooters and the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
In collaboration with Hooters, we created a collection of limited-edition styles that make a statement and support the cause. The capsule features a new pink take on the bestselling Hooters uniform to raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. We’ll be donating 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of the collection directly to the V Foundation.
The V Foundation was founded by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano shortly before he lost his battle with cancer with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®. Since its inception in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded nearly $290 million in cancer research grants nationwide. Investing in research is the only path to finding a cure for cancer. Treatment options and survival rates for cancer patients have improved significantly thanks to breakthroughs in cancer research and between 1991 and 2019, overall cancer death rates fell by 32%. But there’s so much more work to be done in this fight to save lives. We hope you’ll join us.
