Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Fredo Bang started rapping as a teenager. Debuting in the early 2010s with his Top Boy Gorilla crew, he set himself apart with his chart-topping single, “Oouuh.” His time spent in jail and hard-luck upbringing informed his material for the rest of the decade, especially on his solo mixtape debut, 2 Face Bang. In 2020, he was signed to Def Jam records for his release, Most Hated. In 2021, he released Murder Made Me and in 2022, Two-Face Bang 2.
